The Torch Trophy Trust is a charity whose main aims are to reward volunteers in sport and recreation and to recognise and support their endeavours.



We offer bursaries, and recognise the achievements of some of the UK's most outstanding volunteers in the annual Torch Trophy Trust Awards, presented by a member of the Royal Family.

Do you know the history behind the original 1948 Olympic torch? One of the two torches made was presented to our founder Commander Collins, and became our charity's symbol.
